This English tutor role will be ideal if you have previous experience in teaching, teaching assistance, SEN one-to-one, or tutoring and are looking for some flexible work. It will involve working with Primary/Secondary children in the

Northampton area. This English tutor role involves: Working with children with SEN needs who require face-to-face support, including those with ASD and SEMH, at their homes, care homes, or a local area (e.g., library) agreed upon with the parents/carers. Planning resources around the child’s needs, focusing on developing their knowledge in English. Managing behavior and implementing a range of behavior strategies. What we are looking for in an English tutor: SEN experience (as a teaching assistant, one-to-one tutor, or in any other capacity). Able to plan and deliver engaging, nurturing sessions. Skills to raise pupils’ confidence and enhance their learning. Why work for TP tutors? We are a national company, providing access to a larger volume of tuition work. Once registered, you will have a dedicated consultant who will guide you through the tuition process and your journey with TP tutors. Face-to-face and online tuition options are available to suit your availability, with tuition offered during the school day or after school. Referrals to support primary, secondary, and post-16 aged students in specific subject areas. Children may be in a mainstream setting, special educational needs, alternate provision, or without a school place and awaiting a suitable placement. Bespoke online reporting platform - 24/7 access to log immediate attendance details, feedback, and assessments. Online classroom platform - to enable you to deliver online tuition in a virtual environment, equipped with necessary tools for online teaching, recorded for safeguarding and revision purposes. Hourly rate of £25-£30, paid weekly. Access to free safeguarding and CPD courses, as well as free assessment tools and resources. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position, with the potential option to make this role permanent at a later date.
