Here at TP Tutors (Specialist Tuition Branch of Teaching Personnel), we are looking for English tutors needed to support pupils outside of mainstream school education across Kirkby in Ashfield and the surrounding areas. We have been requested to find qualified English teachers and English tutors who can support students who require additional tuition and intervention support. You will be given the opportunity to teach English to looked-after children, low-achieving students, and many more. TP Tutors cover all of Derbyshire, so you will have English tutoring opportunities on a flexible basis matching your availability, whether that be one day or five days a week. Funded directly through local authorities and virtual schools, the role of an English tutor is highly rewarding as you can make a significant impact on a young person’s educational experience and track their progress through regular targeted sessions in Mathematics. If you are an English teacher looking to tutor students, you will need to match the following criteria: Have experience of delivering the English curriculum in the UK across KS3 and KS4. No QTS required – just some form of tuition experience is needed. Provide regular reports monitoring progress made by the students tutored. Main highlights of working as an English tutor through TP Tutors: Hourly rates of pay up to £25 depending on your experience. Flexible work schedule with a reduced workload from full-time teaching.
