English & Vocational Teacher – Full-time

English Teacher We are looking for a teacher with an English specialism whose subject knowledge, pedagogy, and enthusiasm will engage even the most reluctant learner. The successful candidate will deliver GCSE English to KS4 and a more vocational qualification linked to English, such as performing arts or media, or another hands-on trade based on their skills and interests. It is vital that the successful candidate is a hard-working teacher who can quickly build positive relationships with young people and adults and who wants to have a transformational impact on the lives of the most disadvantaged young people. Who we are looking for: A qualified teacher with experience in alternative provision or mainstream, or an ECT determined to combine professional development with life-changing teaching, or an Unqualified Teacher educated to degree level who would engage in Teacher Training while being fully supported within our school. The subject knowledge and classroom practice to teach across Key Stages 4. A commitment to motivating learners while challenging and supporting them to achieve their potential. Organised, resourceful, and proactive. Desirable to have SEND experience and/or experience teaching another more vocational course (media/film).
