English Teacher We are looking for a teacher with an English specialism whose subject knowledge, pedagogy and enthusiasm will engage even the most reluctant learner. We are looking for an English specialist to deliver GCSE English to KS4. We would also like this teacher to deliver a more vocational qualification as part of their timetable. This could be a subject linked to English such as performing art or media, or something the successful applicant has an interest/skillset in such as painting and decorating, tiling or another hands-on trade. We are open to ideas to widen our curriculum based on having the right person in post to deliver it. It is vital that the successful candidate is a hard-working teacher who can quickly build positive relationships with young people and adults and who wants to have a transformational impact on the lives of the most disadvantaged young people. Who we are looking for:

The subject knowledge and classroom practice to teach across Key Stages 4. A commitment to motivating learners while challenging and supporting them to achieve their potential. Organised, resourceful, and proactive. Desire to continually improve own teaching and classroom practice. Desirable to have SEND experience and/or experience teaching another more vocational course (media/film). This is a full-time, permanent position open to UQT/ECT/MPS + SEN allowance. Checks
