PCB Layout Engineer
Permanent role 100% remote working. First 4-6 weeks will be onsite - with paid accommodation provided. Deliver high-quality PCBs aligned with the unique requirements of each project. Work closely with our design engineers to produce complex, high-reliability PCBs for business-critical products, often to tight timelines. Collaborate within a cross-functional team to develop robust PCB layouts that meet precise project objectives. Work closely with mechanical designers to ensure alignment on mechanical and thermal design considerations. Maintain regular contact with PCB manufacturers to clarify requirements and address any manufacturing issues. Conduct detailed analysis and review of both analogue and digital circuits. Take part in continuous improvement activities and contribute to process development. Essential
Proven PCB design experience, with a strong focus on attention to detail. Proficiency in Altium Designer. Experience producing layouts to IPC 2221 Class 3 standards. Deep understanding of component and industry standards. Adaptable, quick learner with effective communication skills to meet rigorous customer requirements. Desirable
Experience in product design and verification. Familiarity with best practice design lifecycles, including gated design phases and design reviews. IPC Certified Interconnect Designer (CID) qualification. Knowledge of Zuken Cadstar software. Security Clearance:
