SALARY:

£90,000 - £95,000 per annum + Generous Benefits (see below)

LOCATION:

Hybrid working 1 to 2 days from the Ealing office (W5) and the remaining time from home

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Enterprise Architect/ IT Solution Architect with previous experience in a similar cloud computing, data management or integration solutions role, a strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman), and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Working as the Enterprise Architect / IT Solution Architect you will be responsible for defining the architectural vision and strategy for the organisation, ensuring that all technology initiatives align with business goals.

As the Enterprise Architect / IT Solution Architect your role will focus on creating a cohesive framework that integrates various systems and processes to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.

DUTIES

Your duties as an Enterprise Architect / IT Solution Architect will include:

Architecture Strategy:

Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, including architecture principles, standards, and guidelines that support the organisation’s strategic objectives.

Roadmap Development:

Create and maintain a technology roadmap that outlines the short- and long-term vision for IT investments and initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with senior management, department heads, and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.

Technology Evaluation:

Assess and recommend new technologies, tools, and platforms that can enhance the services and operational capabilities.

System Integration:

Design and oversee the integration of various IT systems and applications to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.

Governance:

Establish and enforce architecture governance processes to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.

Performance Monitoring:

Analyse and monitor the performance of existing systems and architectures, recommending improvements as needed.

Leadership:

Lead and mentor IT staff in architectural practices and methodologies, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Documentation:

Maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture models, processes, and standards.

External environment:

Establish and maintain relationships across the housing sector and broader technology industry to help benchmark, leverage best practice and horizon scan.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar role, preferably within the housing or public sector.

Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).

Experience with cloud computing, data management, and integration solutions.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Knowledge of industry trends and best practices related to technology in housing associations.
