Enterprise Architect, Remote / home working / initially 6 months - 12 months Rate: £850/day (umbrella rate) or £650/day (Ltd rate)

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to drive technology-enabled change programmes for a large sustainable infrastructure solutions company creating connected, sustainable infrastructure across key sectors such as Energy, Water, Transportation and Defence.

As the Enterprise Architect, you will work with customers and senior stakeholders to align business capabilities with technology solutions, ensuring that the client's technology strategy supports their business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Define and agree roadmaps that align business capabilities with technology solutions. Ensure technology strategy and roadmaps support client business strategy. Act as a trusted advisor to drive technology-enabled change programmes. Document and maintain Enterprise Architecture using appropriate tooling. Provide costed options to address challenges or capability gaps. Support internal teams in documenting and shaping Enterprise Architecture initiatives. Provide Enterprise Architecture support to project teams working on client initiatives. Contribute to IT Strategy definition, ensuring alignment with business strategy areas. Assist with capacity planning for initiatives based on early triage and indicative sizing. Support bid teams by providing Enterprise Architecture models. Lead virtual, cross-functional teams in business-led initiatives. Ensure strong business partnering with a customer-focused approach.

Requirements:

Proven experience in designing and independently assuring solution completeness. Experienced understanding of Architecture frameworks (e.g., GDS, TOGAF, NIST Cyber Security Framework, ISF Standard, SABSA). Industry experience with understanding of both IT and OT requirements and solutions. Knowledge of relevant UK standards and regulations. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in creating and maintaining architecture models. Proficiency in architecture tooling and documentation.
