Job Description Carnival UK is in search of an Enterprise Architect, to support our technological transformation in what is an exciting and crucial stage in the evolution of our IT landscape to support our long-term business ambitions. As part of the Enterprise Architecture team, this crucial role will develop and promote the strategic, business-aligned architectural direction of Carnival UK, leveraging strong relationship skills to engage and guide key stakeholders across key business initiatives, to determine agreed roadmaps and future state architecture. Your responsibilities include: Develop a deep understanding of the different business models operating across the company and provide or assist in developing a roadmap to bring these different models onto a commonly agreed future state architecture. Work with Solution Architects to ensure that designs align to the overall Enterprise Architecture, ensuring that technical debt is being addressed within new design activities wherever possible. Ensure that projects do not duplicate functionality or diverge from each other and business and technology strategies. Conduct architecture reviews and audits across the group for compliance with strategy, agreed standards, and principles. Outline where capabilities are at end of life, or near end of life and work with the business and IT to develop the appropriate plans to address these in the longer term. Coach and mentor architects in the delivery of architectures and execution of the future state. Demonstrable background delivering large scale, multi-project Roadmaps throughout the entire development lifecycle to drive transformation and change. A background and passion for handling innovation in the technology industry. Ability to manage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, including senior leadership.
