About Us - The Cheshire and Warrington Pledge Partnership The Cheshire and Warrington Pledge puts employers at the heart of inspiring, informing and communicating with the next generation in Cheshire and Warrington. The partnership was launched in June 2019 and is made up of 9 local Pledges that cover the whole of the Cheshire and Warrington sub-region. The Partnership brings over 500 organisations together, including 400 employers, all 86 secondary schools and FE colleges, youth community and charitable groups, local authorities and employer led organisations. The Cheshire & Warrington Careers Hub, based within The Pledge team, provides the infrastructure for delivery of The Careers & Enterprise Company’s objectives to improve careers education for 11– 18-year-olds. Our Network acts as a catalyst, connecting employers with schools and colleges throughout England to deliver modern, 21st century careers education which helps every young person to find their best next step. The Careers Hub team is based at The Cheshire & Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership and is aligned to the LEPs vision for Cheshire and Warrington to have the healthiest, sustainable and inclusive growing economy in the UK. We are looking for a talented and passionate individual to join our inspirational team as an Enterprise Coordinator to support a caseload of schools, colleges and enterprise advisors (volunteers from business). As the Pledge Partnership brings a variety of stakeholders together, we are keen to receive applicants from a wide range of backgrounds, be it from education, business, voluntary or local authority. As this is a fixed term cover post we are particularly keen to explore possible secondment opportunities should this be an option for the right candidate, this would be a great development opportunity. This is a cover post to manage a caseload across the Cheshire East area so applicants must be comfortable with regular travel around this area as well as travel across Cheshire & Warrington. Caseloads and geographies are not fixed and so members of the team need to be flexible to meet the needs of the area. This post is match funded by The Careers & Enterprise Company, European Social Funds and Cheshire and Warrington LEP contributions. The Role Enterprise Coordinators play a pivotal role in The Careers & Enterprise Company’s national programme of Careers Hubs. Enterprise Coordinators support a caseload of schools and colleges to develop their strategic careers and educational plans in line with the 8 Gatsby Benchmarks of good careers guidance. They also recruit match and support Enterprise Advisers (volunteers from business) to provide strategic support and network connections for schools and colleges.
