Enterprise Product Manager

to join the team based in the UK. This is a critical and high profile role for Sparta, building a new product line and driving the entire product life cycle from ideation through delivery, launch, and post-launch impact assessment. This role will take Sparta to the largest and most important trading houses in the world. You’ll move fast, work with a great team, and build fantastic products that will have real impact in commodity trading and create new solutions for users. You’ll have a senior profile across the business and work closely with Sparta’s Senior Leadership Team, including co-founders and the CEO. You’ll own our Enterprise Product line, and work with customers, internal teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to create innovative, scalable solutions. You’ll operate as a trusted, cross-functional leader, co-leading product engineering teams alongside a Tech Lead. We’re keen for this role to be present with Product leadership 2+ days a week in our London office. What you’ll be doing: Product Ownership: Own and drive the product lifecycle for Enterprise, from ideation to impact validation. Develop and maintain a compelling product vision, strategy, and roadmap that aligns with company goals and customer needs. Customer Engagement (Outbound): Conduct in-depth customer research and stakeholder interviews to identify pain points and opportunities. Validate problem statements and proposed solutions with real-world customer input. Cross-functional Collaboration (Inbound): Work closely with Sales & Customer Success to understand user feedback, partner with Marketing teams to ensure product-market fit and successful product launches. Work closely with Product Designers and Engineers to deliver high-quality, impactful solutions that live up to Sparta’s excellent UX reputation. Team Leadership: Co-lead a product engineering team alongside Tech Lead counterpart, fostering a culture of first principles problem understanding, individual ownership, proactiveness, collaboration, accountability, and innovation. Provide your team with clarity on the problem space and conviction in the proposed solutions through a data-driven and evidence-based approach. Building and Scaling Products: Take products from 0 to 1: design and launch new offerings that do not exist today. Scale products to meet growing enterprise demands, ensuring reliability, stability, performance, and customer satisfaction. Metrics and Impact: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform decision-making. Continuously review feedback and synthesise it into the product backlog to maximise product impact and user satisfaction. About you: 5+ years of product management experience, with a focus on Enterprise SaaS. Proven track record of building and scaling SaaS products from inception to enterprise adoption Strong client-facing skills; ability to empathise with customer needs and translate them into actionable insights (workflows, product features, solutions). Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams. Proficiency in creating and executing data-driven product strategies. Results-driven, with a blend of strong execution, customer insight, strategic vision, and influencing skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building from scratch and taking ownership. Adaptable, innovative, and focused on delivering results in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working with engineering teams to scope technical feasibility and navigate trade-offs. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product development best practices. Thrives in ambiguity. Proactive, with a proven ability to work with a high level of independence and urgency. High level of integrity, ethical standards, and alignment with Sparta’s values.
