Base pay range
Insight Global is seeking multiple entry level Software Engineers to join a client’s growing Digital Banking team. He or she will be working on full-stack development but focused primarily on the front-end. You will be working on cutting edge Insurance software products the client offers to their customers. The Banking Platform you will support is built on top of a modern stack consisting of Kotlin/JVM for the back end interacting with other Java/JVM services internally, and a React based front end. It connects with many APIs internally and externally to aggregate and analyse customer information. As a developer, you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of your software from inception to production, working on a mixture of green- and brown-field projects, as well as learning from, and contributing to your peer group. These positions offer a flexible, hybrid working model with the ability to work up to two days/week from home. Must Haves: Experience with Full-Stack development but passion for Front-End development Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience Understanding of service-based architectures Understanding of web applications and how to use APIs to power them Creativity & Problem-Solving Adaptability & Flexibility Aptitude for technology; curiosity, passion and startup mindset Innovative thinking Plusses: Experience or interest in programming in Kotlin Experience with Cloud technologies, ideally AWS Seniority level
