The Role
As the EHS Manager, you will play a critical role in upholding health, safety, and environmental standards across various locations. Working in a roaming capacity, you’ll ensure compliance, drive improvements, and foster a culture of safety within the organisation. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
- Conduct site audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards
- Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS best practices and compliance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and environmental performance
- Collaborate with management teams and key stakeholders to embed a strong safety culture
- Investigate and report on incidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as an EHS Manager or similar role within manufacturing or construction
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
- NEBOSH or equivalent qualification is required; additional EHS certifications are advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels
- Willingness to travel as required, supporting various sites across the region
