Here at Futures, we are delighted to be working with a leading FMCG Manufacturing business based in the Wakefield area in their search for an Environment, Health and Safety Manager! The company is really forward-thinking, with a genuinely proactive approach. They are currently enjoying an impressive growth spout with a lot of investments planned and secured for the upcoming years! Reporting to the Group Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for training and mentoring onsite employees on the importance of Health and Safety onsite, whilst working alongside the Group HSE Manager in the design and implementation of new continuous improvement strategies and various improvement programmes to ensure the Health and Safety function is constantly expanding and growing. Your Responsibilities:

Maintaining a high level of knowledge and expertise in all areas of Compliance to provide appropriate advice and support. To provide H&S management reporting to agreed deadlines. Providing managers and employees with information on legislative and corporate compliance, advising on ways of meeting statutory requirements and Corporate HS&E Policies, HSE guidance and codes of practice. To ensure that risk assessments/safe systems of work requirements are met. Proactively work with other areas of the business to develop SHE culture. Conduct monthly safety audits, behavioural observations, and quarterly safety inspections. You Will Need:

Previous Experience working within a Manufacturing environment. Previous track record in Health and Safety management. NEBOSH Diploma qualified or in progress. Experience in HSE management process. Ability to problem solve and think outside of the box. Why Work Here?
