Environmental Advisor focuses on monitor environmental management plans (emps) and site-specific environmental controls.

What the role involves

• Monitor Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) and site-specific environmental controls.
• Conduct regular environmental audits, inspections, and risk assessments across active construction sites.
• Ensure full compliance with relevant environmental legislation, permits, and consents.
• Provide environmental advice and guidance to site teams and project managers.
• Report environmental incidents, implementing corrective actions where required.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, local councils, and other stakeholders.

Skills and requirements

• Proven experience in an Environmental Advisor or similar role within civil construction or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation and planning conditions.
• Experience developing and implementing EMPs and CEMP (Construction Environmental Management Plans).
• Relevant qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related field.
