Environmental Advisor focuses on monitor environmental management plans (emps) and site-specific environmental controls.
What the role involves
- Monitor Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) and site-specific environmental controls.
- Conduct regular environmental audits, inspections, and risk assessments across active construction sites.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant environmental legislation, permits, and consents.
- Provide environmental advice and guidance to site teams and project managers.
- Report environmental incidents, implementing corrective actions where required.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, local councils, and other stakeholders.
Skills and requirements
- Proven experience in an Environmental Advisor or similar role within civil construction or infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation and planning conditions.
- Experience developing and implementing EMPs and CEMP (Construction Environmental Management Plans).
- Relevant qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related field.
