Environmental Consultant/Project Manager

to join our team in

Addlestone, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an exciting mix of site and office work, and environmental contracting and consultancy projects. RSK RAW

offers multi-disciplinary environmental protection and risk reduction services to a wide range of industries and clients across the UK, and are specialists in the provision of spill response, contamination investigation and remediation projects. Responsibilities:

Management of a number of oil pollution and contaminated land projects Responsible for financial control of allocated projects including project driven invoicing, issuing of purchase orders, and chasing payment on outstanding and overdue invoices Responsible for procurement and management of subcontractors for allocated projects, ensuring that they provide the relevant health and safety method statements and risk assessments and that these procedures are followed throughout the works Pro-active client management, maintaining good communication throughout the lifecycle of a project, being aware of the clients' needs and providing regular progress reports and confirming any variances as they arise Accountable for management and performance of projects and continued delivery of a high quality service, providing clear, commercially focused solutions Preparation of project descriptions and collection of appropriate marketing photographs for projects managed Conduct field surveys and collect data about the level of contamination on a site Carry out desk-based research, interpreting data Compile technical reports based on findings Review technical reports, letters, purchase orders, proposals and general correspondence prepared by others, prior to submission Qualifications/Experience:

Science based degree Associate membership of a relevant professional body At least 3 years' relevant industry experience A full UK driving licence Salary & Benefits:
