We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Environmental Consultant/Project Manager to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a range of environmental projects, with a focus on oil pollution and contaminated land. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking to take on a challenging and rewarding position where you can make a real impact. Key Responsibilities: Manage multiple environmental projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Oversee the financial control of projects, including budgeting, invoicing, and managing payments. Procure and manage subcontractors, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. Maintain proactive communication with clients, providing regular updates and managing expectations. Deliver high-quality, commercially focused solutions and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct field surveys, gather data, and carry out desk-based research to assess site contamination levels. Qualifications/Experience: A science-based degree, with additional qualifications in environmental impact assessment, environmental management, or a related field preferred. Relevant industry experience, with strong technical and project management skills. Knowledge of international environmental and social standards (e.g., IFC, World Bank) is desirable. Experience in sectors such as renewable energy, transport, or property is advantageous. Strong commercial awareness, with proven ability to manage project finances and teams effectively.
