Position We're currently seeking a Environmental Consultant - Permitting to contribute to the management of and develop the work of the environmental permitting team. Support and manage existing clients. The work is office based but will involve site visits and attendance at meetings. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the team’s multidisciplinary work and manage the preparation of work. Engage with existing clients. Prepare quotes and invoices, support the management of projects. Key Requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary to work as part of a team and to engage with clients and regulators. Excellent time and organisational skills allowing completion of work to time and budget. Take responsibility for project delivery, use initiative and work without supervision. First degree in a relevant Science or Geography or Civil Engineering Good IT skills especially MS Word and Excel. A minimum 5 years relevant experience. Excellent knowledge of permitting and how permitting and other regulatory frameworks interact. Detailed understanding of environmental risk assessment tools e.g. LandSim / H1.
