Environmental Enforcement Officer

to join our experienced Environmental Protection team. This role involves undertaking a range of environmental enforcement controls to meet the Council's obligations, including the investigation of fly-tips, abandoned vehicles, dog fouling and other similar environmental crime issues. Ideally, you will have knowledge and experience of the relevant legislation and standards relating to waste regulation, street scene and environmental matters including waste, antisocial behaviour, scrap metal, PSPOs and environmental crime. Anyone applying for the role needs to be a motivated person with a can-do attitude, who is happy to work independently, but also closely and collaboratively with their colleagues and who possesses the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
