Are you an environmental manager looking for your next role within a market leading manufacturing business? If so we may have a role for you. Due to a period of continued growth our client is looking to appoint an environmental manager who will implement short, medium and long term strategies to reduce the business environmental impact and identify potential risk.

Responsibilities

Training and Awareness:

Develop and deliver training programs for staff and stakeholders on environmental policies, procedures, and best practices. Monitoring and Reporting:

Monitor environmental performance and prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities. Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental laws, regulations, and standards in the UK. Keep abreast of changes in legislation and assess their impact on the project. Environmental Management Systems:

Develop, implement, and maintain environmental management systems (EMS) in line with ISO 14001 standards. Risk Assessment:

Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and risk assessments to identify potential environmental risks associated with project activities. Sustainability Initiatives:
