Environmental Protection Officer 6 months fixed term full time

About the role An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Council's Environmental Protection Team. We are looking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated specialist to lead on planning application consultation responses with respect to noise, air quality and contaminated land, the inspection of processes under the Environmental Permitting Regulations 2016, Environmental Protection Licensing consultation responses and statutory nuisance investigations. The role requires excellent communication skills, a flexible approach to work, and a positive solution-focused approach to their work. Minimum Qualifications: Degree in Environmental Health or Environmental Science or equivalent qualification. Wide experience in the field of Environmental Protection sufficient to take a technical lead role.
