Environmental & Sustainability Advisor - Borehamwood Danny Sullivan Group are currently looking for an experienced Environment & Sustainability Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in shaping and implementing environmental strategies, policies, and initiatives to ensure regulatory compliance, minimise environmental impact, and champion sustainability across our operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an environmentally conscious professional to make a meaningful difference to our company's mission and the environment. Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain Environmental Management Systems (EMS) to ensure compliance with environmental laws and standards. Conduct environmental audits, assessments, and inspections to identify improvements and uphold policies and procedures. Provide guidance and support to internal teams on environmental compliance, best practices, and regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and health & safety, to incorporate environmental considerations into business operations. Monitor and analyse environmental performance data to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and prepare management reports. Liaise with regulatory agencies, consultants, and third-party organisations on environmental permitting and compliance. Design and deliver training programs to foster environmental awareness and sustainability. Participate in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and develop Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) for new projects. Stay informed on emerging environmental trends, technologies, and regulations, and assess their business implications. Support the creation and achievement of environmental sustainability goals and initiatives. Experience/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (IEMA, NEBOSH). Proven expertise in environmental management, sustainability, or related fields, preferably in the Utilities/Civils sector. Strong understanding of environmental laws, regulations, and best practices, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively. Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to interpret environmental data. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact while advancing your career in environmental management.
