Environmental Sustainability Advisor

to join our Building Services team in the West Midlands.

What you'll do:

Drive and report performance outcomes against projects/contracts/OU/EF environmental objectives and targets.

Support the OU Environmental Sustainability Manager and the project/contract leads on internal and external reporting of environmental performance.

Develop and implement Environmental Management System (EMS) documentation at project/contract level, and coordinate their reviews as and when required.

Support internal operational teams and subcontractors in identifying, meeting and embedding environmental requirements into live projects/contracts.

Assist with and/or manage the investigation of environmental near misses and incidents.

What you'll bring to the role:

Practical knowledge of waste management.

Experience of the facilities management and/or construction sector.

Experience of managing and interacting with suppliers, clients, and other key stakeholders.

Experience/knowledge of working with the healthcare sector.
