Environmental & Sustainability Coordinator
A leading privately owned contractor based in South Wales is seeking an Environmental & Sustainability Coordinator to join their business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary business with an extensive background as a reputable contractor. The Environmental & Sustainability Coordinator will play a key part in the development and future of the business, reporting directly to the HSQE Director.
About the Role
This regional contractor traditionally specializes in civil engineering projects and commercial build projects across the education, industrial, energy, and water sectors, valuing up to £30M across the UK for both private and framework clients. The Environmental & Sustainability Coordinator will be joining an already well-established HSQE team based out of their office in South Wales.
Responsibilities Provide support surrounding Environmental & Sustainability best practices throughout the business from conception to completion, working alongside the tender and operational teams. Assist with the development and implementation of strategies to improve the business's policies surrounding Environmental & Sustainability improvement. Regularly promote and encourage campaigns to foster social convention within the business surrounding Environmental & Sustainability.
Requirements Previous experience within the construction industry is preferred. Relevant qualification within a related degree in Geology, Ecology, or Environmental Sciences. Genuine passion and belief in the improvement of Environmental & Sustainability standards.
