As an Environment & Sustainability Lead, you will play a key role in leading environmental standards and driving innovation across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities:
Environmental Compliance:
Provide expert guidance to ensure projects comply with environmental regulations, monitor performance, and conduct audits and inspections. Sustainability Strategy:
Develop and implement sustainability initiatives, including carbon reduction and biodiversity plans, to drive positive environmental outcomes. Data & Reporting:
Collect, analyse, and report environmental performance data to internal teams, clients, and regulatory bodies, ensuring continuous improvement. Innovation in Sustainability:
Identify and implement innovative solutions that enhance environmental sustainability across projects, driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of environmental innovation within the company. Stakeholder Engagement:
Attend client meetings, raise the company's environmental profile, and provide training to internal teams to ensure environmental goals are met.
What We're Looking For: Experience:
Proven experience in an environmental or sustainability role, with a solid understanding of environmental legislation and sustainability issues within the construction industry to come in and influence. Sustainability Expertise:
Knowledge of sustainability assessments and environmental performance frameworks. Communication Skills:
Clear communicator, able to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels, delivering key messages effectively. Data & Reporting Skills:
Strong data management and analysis abilities, with experience in reporting environmental performance and driving continuous improvement. Leadership:
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage teams, guide projects, and foster a culture of environmental responsibility.
