Excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in driving sustainability within a large organisation looking for a new role that offers autonomy and able to make the role their own.

The company are a well-established, highly revered manufacturing company in the Plymouth area with sites across the world that not only are renowned for the quality of their products but also for being a leading and progressive employer within the area. This is a key role within the business, ensuring the legal compliance requirements are fulfilled, drive environmental and sustainability improvements across the organisation. Although this is a Manager position, it is currently standalone with no reportees. This is a new role for my client, as they look to improve their Sustainability and footprint of the business as a whole, so will suit the person who is looking for autonomy and able to sink their teeth into the role.

The Role:

Develop, lead and support key strategies for continuous improvement of Environmental, Social and Governance standards throughout the business processes Provision of a fast and reliable response to all third-party enquiries and key asks related to sustainability. Act as a leadership role model for the wider organisation to follow, demonstrating the appropriate leadership behaviours of Communication, Training, Teamwork and Recognition, in line with company goalsThe person:

Strong experience within sustainability & environmental (Site Carbon footprint -Scope 1,2 and 3, CSRD reports etc) Strong communication, leadership, analytical and IT skills Relevant bachelor's degree Reference Number: BBBH(phone number removed)
