Permanent full-time post within our EPR PAS Team. Looking for an exciting opportunity to develop/start your career within the NHS? We are looking for someone with an interest in computer systems and data quality to join our EPR PAS Team. The successful applicant will be providing support to all front-end users of our Maxims EPR System across the Trust, managing data quality reports, correcting data on the Maxims system, and ensuring that patient records are accurate and up to date. They will also be required to configure elements of the system. Training will be provided to ensure you have a comprehensive knowledge of the system. The Trust EPR Programme Department is working to implement a paperless clinical patient system, and the EPR Team works closely with the project, incorporating new functionality and processes as the project progresses. Main duties of the job Provide assistance on request to the clinical systems support team for issues relating to PAS, informatics, data quality, or issues within the remit of this role. This may require working collaboratively with the EPR clinical functions management team where necessary. Be skilled with the operation of MAXIMS EPR and keep updated on all enhancements/revisions to the system, and ensure own training requirements are regularly updated. Action DQ reports received from the Information and Clinical Coding teams. Provide support to the Training Team for system upgrades configuration of the training environment, ensuring the configuration of the training environment matches that on the main MAXIMS EPR user environment. Provide appropriate help desk functionality, accurately logging and communicating issues and problems with System suppliers. Education & Qualifications Essential Equivalent to NVQ Level 3 Qualification or equivalent level of knowledge. GCSE Maths and English. Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel. Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Essential Advanced Keyboard skills. Ability to demonstrate systems to users. Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to use Microsoft office systems. Analytical skills involving investigation and resolution of complex queries. Desirable Knowledge of MAXIMS EPR System. Able to configure aspects of MAXIMS EPR System. Knowledge and understanding of Trust's policies and procedures. Experience Essential Able to engage with a wide range of stakeholders. Experience of testing systems. Experience of problem solving. Desirable Experience of working in the NHS. Experience of systems configuration. Personal Attributes Essential Ability to work as part of a team. Ability to work on own. To be able to understand complex instructions and impart this to users of the systems.
