We have embarked on a programme to implement a single Electronic Patient Record (EPR) as part of the NHS digital health ongoing initiative across the Norfolk and Waveney Acute Hospital Collaborative (NWAHC). The collaborative is made up of three acute hospitals in Norfolk and Waveney: James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (JPUH) Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH) The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust (QEH) This is a unique opportunity to contribute your skills and expertise to create a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of individuals throughout Norfolk and Waveney. Main duties of the job The Senior Terminology Analyst delivers the development, maintenance, analytical, and documentation commitments within the EPR programme to ensure compliance and assurance across all build areas and environments and that build is being completed in line with NHS national terminologies and classifications. The Senior Terminology Analyst will become a Meditech configuration expert utilising NHS experience. They will need to currently understand business objectives, NHS statutory & contractual deliverables, questions, and problems. They will have the ability to obtain and communicate details within these areas. They will maintain and develop systems to support transparency and accuracy of the required standards and classifications. They will support the documentation for development, including transformations, derivations, and assumptions. Insight into the NHS, its configuration requirements and the data are essential.

Job description Job responsibilities Opportunity to work on a wide range of innovative projects, which improve patient experience and outcomes. Flexibility to work within a collaborative office space at Norfolk County Hall, at one of the 3-Acute hospitals and from home. Work with a multi-disciplinary team of experienced Clinicians, Technicians, Digital Nurses, and Data Scientists.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Degree level or equivalent experience (relevant to role). Postgraduate qualification (PGCert/PGDip) or equivalent experience or qualification in relevant area or equivalent experience in a Health Informatics environment.

Qualifications Essential Extensive knowledge of a range of NHS terminology and classifications standards. Experience of data requirements gathering and report specification documentation.

Skills Essential Excellent administrative and organisational skills. Strong communication skills - written and verbal - able to identify key points from complex issues and explain them appropriately and with clarity.
