Aramark UK are currently recruiting an Equine Equipment Orderly in their Defence sector to be a part of our integral team at Hyde Park Barracks, Knightsbridge, London, SW7 1SE. As an Equine Equipment Orderly, you will clean and maintain all Military Working Horses (MWH) ceremonial and exercise head kits, saddles and girths, and co-ordinate the collection and return of laundered items for the associated ancillaries for the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment (HCMR) in Central London. You must be eligible to work in the UK and have resided in-country for more than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role. What we offer:

This is a full-time, permanent position. You will be working 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Working times are 08.30 - 16.30 with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break. The hourly rate is £13.50. A day in the life of an Equine Equipment Orderly:

Collect, clean, and maintain all MWH exercise head kits, saddles, and girths (civilian pattern saddlery). Collect, clean, and maintain all MWH exercise head kits, saddles, and girths (military pattern). Collect, clean, and maintain all MWH ceremonial head kits, saddles, and girths (parade pattern). Co-ordinate the collection of soiled and the return of laundered items (including dry cleaning) for associated ancillaries (numnahs, bandages, rugs). Completion of a variety of straightforward, stand-alone tasks within set rules and instructions. You will be set up for success if you have:

Previous experience within a horse environment is not required; all training will be provided. Been resident in the UK for the past 3 years and have legal right to work.
