As an Equipment Technician Trainee, you will be part of a trainee program geared towards operating and maintaining both Trenching and ROV equipment.
You will have an opportunity to learn the profession, gain experience offshore, and become a part of the crew. If your education and background is mechanical, hydraulical, electrical or electronics, this may be a chance for you to develop with our experienced ROV team. These positions apply for our UK entity. Duties and responsibilities Perform repairs and planned routine maintenance on both Trencher and ROV and sensors and supporting equipment. Assist in fault finding and problem solving. Stay updated on all Trencher and ROV planned activities. Assist in launch and recovery of Trencher/ ROV equipment. Navigate and operate the underwater vehicles during subsea operations. Operate the Trencher and ROV auxiliary functions such as Jetting tools, manipulators, etc. Qualifications Certificate of apprenticeship in: electrics, hydraulics, mechanics or electronics. Attained HNC or academic equivalent level of education in Engineering discipline. Proactive. Flexible. Reliable. Team player. Eager to learn.
