The ER Casework Officer will provide an effective, high-quality People Function service, advising on a range of employee relation issues, advising on ER casework and activity that supports the business aims and objectives.



Requirements:


  • Work as part of an Employee Relations (ER) Casework team to support managers.
  • Advising and supporting line managers with first level ER casework including sickness absence, disciplinary, resolution, capability and probation cases.
  • Proactively monitoring and managing data that is provided to the ER Casework team
  • Support the ER Casework Team on setting up formal meetings, preparing letter templates, attending formal meetings, taking notes at formal meetings.
  • Work alongside ER Casework Advisers to coordinate the occupational health referral process.
  • Support the ER Casework Team with workplace adjustments activity, arranging specialist referrals, obtaining PO numbers and updating relevant trackers.
  • Realise the benefits of a flexible approach to work in undertaking the duties and responsibilities of this job..



Requirements:


  • Experience of working in a similar Human Resources role with responsibility for a wide range of human resources activity including the following:
  • Casework experience within Employee Relations and knowledge of employment law and best practice.
  • Experience of using information technology including word, excel, PowerPoint presentation and databases to produce letters, reports, presentations, management information, charts, and mail merge documents.
  • CIPD Qualified.
