We have a new opportunity to be part of the Health, Safety & Sustainability team in the role of

ESG Data Analyst . The ESG Data Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the team’s sustainability strategy by managing, analysing, and reporting on ESG data. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong analytical mindset and junior experience, who can provide insights that drive the team's ESG initiatives. The role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate data collection, monitoring and display of key ESG metrics, alongside assisting in the preparation of sustainability reports. This role will involve a progression pathway into auditing sustainable management systems such as ISO 14001, ISO 50001 & ISO 20121. Responsibilities:

Collect, administrate, and manage data from multiple sources related to environmental, social, and governance practices, including waste production, energy, water, fuel and gas consumption, alongside carbon emissions. Monitor environmental KPIs and create intensity metrics (e.g. kWh/emissions per car produced, incidents per hours worked) to measure the efficiency and impact of operations. Collaborate with wider business to set and track targets for improvement, ensuring alignment with internal goals and industry standards. Continue to develop and co-ordinate a centralised database for ESG metrics, ensuring the correct paperwork is evidenced within our ISO 14001 & ISO 50001 management system folders for auditable data integrity and accuracy. Statistically analyse trends in ESG data to identify patterns, insights, and anomalies, and investigate anomalies or deviations in data trends, providing explanations for the variations. Collaborate with IT to maintain and create PowerBI dashboards for business use, always striving to identify opportunities for process improvements in data collection, analysis, and reporting. Compile data to prepare detailed and accurate quarterly reports on ESG performance, including progress on KPIs, targets, anomalies, and trends. Support the wider team by contributing towards external reporting requirements supplying and organising data against widely recognised global frameworks such as GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), SBTI (Science Based Targets Initiative) & GHG protocol, ISO 14064-1. Stay informed about the latest developments in streamlining ESG/EHS data reporting. Assist in implementing net-zero emissions reduction strategies providing analytical support, tracking progress, and identifying opportunities for reduction across operations. Opportunity to develop expertise in auditing and implementing ISO management systems, including ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 50001 (Energy Management), and ISO 20121 (Event Sustainability Management), with a focus on continuous improvement and compliance. Any other duties as reasonably requested aligned to your job role. Key Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Sustainable Development, or a related field, with evidence of a strong statistical background. Junior experience in ESG data analysis or carbon footprint reporting. Strong competence in GHG accounting and compiling information for reporting against frameworks such as GRI. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI). Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Strong ethical standards and a commitment to integrity. Willingness to be proactive and undertake projects. Flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment.
