ESG Manager
to join our Ely based client. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of internal processes which ensure our clients' ESG initiatives align with their wider business goals.
Responsibilities:
Drive and support the development and implementation of ESG strategies in alignment with the global business strategy and goals. Project manage the implementation of the ESG framework. Take the lead on data management processes including collection, quality control, evaluation, audit, and disclosure. Develop and deliver external ESG reports within required reporting scopes, as well as internal reports, presentations, and dashboards for various stakeholders. Manage ESG technology tools and leverage EPR system to identify opportunities to streamline and automate ESG processes, enhance efficiency, and improve effectiveness. Identify opportunities and propose recommendations for innovation, initiatives, and improvements in environmental performance, social responsibilities, and governance practices.
Requirements:
5+ years experience in ESG, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, project management roles, or a similar field. Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or another related field. Willingness to travel (approximately 10% of your time). Excellent English language skills; German as an additional language would be advantageous. Strong project management skills across multiple entities and stakeholder groups. Experience and knowledge in ESG reporting software, EPR systems, and data analysis tools is desirable. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
