You’ll help gather and analyze data on our environmental and social impact, working closely with different teams to track and improve our ESG performance. This is a hands-on role where you'll contribute to real-world sustainability initiatives and ensure we stay on top of important governance tasks. You will report to the ESG and compliance lead in the Finance department and will also work with our Environmental Advisor (Operations department). If you’re passionate about making a difference and want to learn more about the intersection of business and sustainability, this role is for you! 12 Month Internship. With the ESG & compliance lead: ESG & Sustainability Reporting : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce Quarterly Sustainability Reports, ensuring accurate and timely data collection (electricity consumption, number of vehicles, % waste recycled, gender balance data…). ESG Budget Support:

Aid in managing the ESG budget, with responsibilities for data collection, analysis, presentation (if needed), and reporting. Supplier Audits & Evaluations:

Participate in the annual supplier evaluations and audits, ensuring compliance with group ESG guidelines. Governance & Compliance:

Distribute and track responses for the Declaration of Outside Interest forms. Review and report on Gifts and Hospitality forms, providing quarterly updates to the UK board. Oversee corporate training compliance, ensuring programs like Responsible Purchasing are completed by UK colleagues.

With the Environmental Advisor: Support Environmental Compliance:

Assist the Environmental Advisor with various tasks, including managing environmental performance data, ensuring compliance with environmental legislation, and responding to ad-hoc requests. Continuous Improvement:

Contribute to the development and implementation of initiatives aimed at enhancing environmental performance across JCDecaux UK. Stakeholder Engagement:

Follow up with landlords and local authorities to verify their renewable energy usage and support our sustainability goals. ESG Presentations:

Assist in creating impactful ESG presentations for both internal stakeholders and external audiences. Qualifications: Good user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Analytical thinker with strong numeracy skills and attention to detail. Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Ability to build strong working relationships with senior management and cross-functional teams.
