Estate Agent Trainee Sales Negotiator Applications are now invited from Trainees who are looking to enter the Estate Agency industry and become an Estate Agent. You will need to have a strong sales background in areas such as car sales, mobile telephone sales, or membership sales. Additionally, you must drive and have your own car. You will receive an initial 6-month guaranteed salary of between £22,000 and £25,000 (pro-rata and dependent on the individual candidate) while you are building your sales pipeline (commission). For the first 6 months of your employment, you cannot earn less than this. Thereafter, you will be offered a basic salary of up to £16,000 (please note that in a sales role where you receive commission, it is impossible to only earn your basic salary) with realistic on-target earnings of £30,000 in year 1, rising in year 2, plus a 40p per mile petrol allowance for business miles. The commission structure is outstanding with 5% personal sales commission plus 2.5% personal commission for booking the PMA (Property Market Appraisal). If you book the PMA and it comes on the market, you have already earned 2.5% commission. You then sell it and take 5% commission, for a combined total of 7.5%. Key Responsibilities: Interview applicants in a structured fashion, identifying needs and business opportunities. Contact qualified applicants regularly, advising them of suitable properties and arranging viewing appointments. Negotiate with potential purchasers, ensuring that our clients' interests are your primary concern. Co-ordinate transactions ensuring the highest standards of customer care to buyers and sellers, expediting matters and securing future recommendations. Integrate into a team environment and provide support to colleagues and the Branch Manager. Introduce clients and applicants to your Mortgage Consultant. Ensure that service standards laid down by the company are met. Achieve sales targets as agreed with your Branch Manager. Familiarize yourself with all systems, procedures, and legislation while projecting a professional image to the public and work colleagues. Experience / Qualification: A robust sales background.
