Key duties include: Leading the delivery of a wide variety of projects within the Town & Community hub programme. Ensuring effective partnership working between the Authority, Partners, and all relevant bodies. Monitoring and reporting of the contracts. Implementing all quality systems to ensure compliance throughout the contract period. Candidates interested in this role will be educated to a degree level or equivalent in a relevant construction industry subject and must provide evidence of continuous professional development. It is essential to have significant relevant post-qualification experience, with experience in a construction design environment being advantageous. Excellent IT skills and an understanding of design/procurement initiatives and processes, including the RIBA Plan of Work, are also essential. Knowledge of Health and Safety issues and developments, along with the ability to analyse data, produce relevant reports, and work under pressure to meet deadlines, is required. Additionally, knowledge of contracts and procurement practices, CDM Regulations, and the Scottish Futures Trust Hub partnering programme is desirable.
