An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Estates Worker (Forestry/Woodland) to join us on a permanent basis. What We Offer

As our Estates Worker (Forestry/Woodland), you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the OGE remains a thriving and well-maintained environment for all. You’ll get hands-on with planting, thinning, felling, pollarding, and grassland maintenance. You’ll also construct and repair fences and maintain our estate roads, rides, and ditches. You’ll interact with a wide range of people—from researchers to local tenants and visitors—ensuring a positive experience for everyone. About You

We are looking for someone who is as passionate about the outdoors and sustainable land management as we are. Experienced and Certified: You have practical estate management experience and hold NPTC Chainsaw Certification (CS 30, 31, 32, 34). Versatile and Skilled: You’re comfortable working independently, can operate estate vehicles, and love solving problems. Knowledgeable and Safety-Minded: You understand Health and Safety regulations and can apply them daily. Engaging and Adaptive: You thrive on interacting with a diverse range of people and adapting to the changing needs of the estate. Application Process
