Job Description This role will take responsibility for managing the interface between the business and the external estates suppliers. Key responsibilities will include: Ensure the acquisition and disposal of commercial property on advantageous terms in accordance with agreed plans Proactively challenge costs by ensuring financially beneficial lease renewal settlements, rent reviews restructuring leases, service charge negotiations and business rates refunds Disposal of assets in accordance with agreed plans Act as escalation point as appropriate for negotiations The Successful Applicant A successful Estates Manager should have: A member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Experience of managing a multisite estate (ideally commercial but could also include retail) portfolio Practical experience of handling acquisition and disposal negotiations Strong organisational and planning skills.
