Ysgol Treganna, an award-winning Welsh medium primary school in Cardiff, is seeking an exceptional Estates Manager to take responsibility for the safety, maintenance, and development of our state-of-the-art facilities. The Role As Estates Manager, you will oversee the smooth and efficient running of all aspects of the school estate. Reporting directly to the Headteacher, you will ensure that our buildings, grounds, and facilities meet the highest standards of safety and functionality. The ability to communicate fluently in Welsh is not essential. Key Responsibilities Facilities Management:

Ensure the effective operation, maintenance, and security of the school’s buildings, grounds, and equipment. Health & Safety Compliance:

Act as the lead for health and safety, ensuring compliance with regulations and conducting regular risk assessments, training can be provided. Project Management:

Plan, manage, and deliver improvement projects, ensuring deadlines are met. Sustainability:

Drive environmentally friendly initiatives, promoting sustainable practices across the estate. Team Leadership:

Oversee site staff and contractors, fostering a positive and productive working environment. About You We’re looking for a driven and dynamic individual with: Proven experience in estates or facilities management, or practical experience. Knowledge of health and safety legislation, training can be provided. Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Exceptional communication skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders. A commitment to sustainability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
