You will join us on a

permanent

basis, working 37.5 hours per week. Flexible working pattern is required to work evenings & weekends when required. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of

£35,000 to £40,000 per annum , depending on experience. is proud to have been providing high-quality care to children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions for over 30 years. The Derian House care team provides symptom management, palliative and end-of-life care, as well as short break respite care to children, young people and their families across Lancashire, South Cumbria and Greater Manchester. Supported by our dedicated community team, family support team, neonatal services and young people’s services, we are able to provide a wide range of support and care in a variety of settings. About the Estates Manager role: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Estates Manager who will support our Head of Facilities to ensure the excellent day-to-day running of the Derian House physical environment and to ensure the hospice premises and grounds are maintained to a high standard. The Estates Manager will be responsible for the provision of a safe and pleasant environment following specified Environmental, Health & Safety Guidelines and relevant legal requirements. They will be responsible for the implementation of all maintenance plans for the hospice, gardens, shops, and vehicles, ensuring that all work is carried out in a planned and timely manner. The Estates Manager will also be responsible for the line management of the estates team, catering staff, and housekeepers.
