In this role you’ll deliver IFM services within a corporate/office environment at a prestigious science park in Colworth, Bedfordshire. This will include H&S, compliance, statutory, contractual and company regulations and process. You will also oversee hard and soft services, building/estate maintenance and managed service providers. As our Facilities / Estate manager you will effectively lead a team to ensure our client receives a seamless and professional service. You will have a technical background with experience from a front line role. As Facilities / Estate Manager you will ensure exemplary standards of customer service delivery. You will lead by example and ensure that team building, staff morale and fostering great relationships are at the forefront of everything you do. Having previous experience of operating and delivering hard and soft FM in a multi tenanted environment. Our Ideal candidate will need to have: Strong written and verbal communication skills Sound FM experience, ideally gained in a client lead environment Either tool trained experience or sound understanding of hard services Excellent people management skills A continuous personal development mindset Able to deal effectively with change A sound understanding of safety, health and environment An innovative approach and always seeking to do things better The ability to make sound business focused decisions Highly organised and able to deliver in a high pressure environment Self-motivated and driven to achieve outstanding results Intermediate working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Flexibility and willingness to cover all sites in the region Full UK driving licence You will already have extensive experience in property and facilities management gained within a commercial environment, coupled with a technical/hard/soft services background. It would be great if you have IWFM accreditation or hold similar FM qualifications, and hold IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications. You will work Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, however you will need to be flexible to meet the requirements of the role which will include travel and very occasional overnight stays.
