Estimator (Construction)
Location: Swansea Salary: £30,000 to £50,000 The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating within the construction industry, excellent analytical skills and a solid ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders and other team members. Main Duties:
Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather additional information when necessary. Participate in pre-bid meetings and assist in preparing bid proposals. Review and analyse project drawings and specifications to determine the scope of work and resources. Prepare bills of quantities and detailed cost estimates for labour, materials, equipment and subcontractor services. Qualifications:
Strong understanding of the construction industry, including the processes, materials and methods. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication skills. Detail oriented. Ability to work independently and as a team. Proficiency in estimating software (e.g. Evaluate or similar).
