Estimator – Highways (contract)

Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, London, South East We are actively seeking an Estimator with a minimum of 5 years experience working on Highways related Term Maintenance contracts. This is a minimum 6 months contract opportunity, based in the SE area covering London, Hertfordshire, Home Counties, and M25. As an Experienced Estimator, you will provide a professional estimating service to the Term Maintenance Division of the business. Responsibilities: Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, specifications, and related documents. Identify labour, types and amounts of materials, together with time requirements necessary to deliver the contract against the agreed specifications. Determine the amount, availability, and cost of plant required. Compute costs by analyzing labour, material, and time requirements. Calculate a final figure for the estimated cost, supplemented by adjustments for overheads and profit, and present a tender price. Identify and implement performance efficiency opportunities.
