Job Title: Estimator/ Senior Estimator
Location: Essex
Package: £55,000 - 85,000 plus car allowance
Skilled Careers are working with a Main Contractor who, due to an incredible amount of work winning, are looking for an Estimator or a Senior Estimator to join the Estimating team across multiple high-profile contracts. The role involves accurately preparing the financial element of bids and producing estimates on appropriate schemes to the right net cost in a timely manner. The ultimate goal is to deliver profitable, de-risked, winning bids on time and to the highest quality, providing estimating services on projects and strategic & contract changes.
The Estimator or Senior Estimator would be working on Residential, Commercial, Education, Leisure, and Industrial Projects from £1m up to £30m.
Duties
Work on Residential, Commercial, Education, Leisure, and Industrial Projects out of the office in Essex. Demonstrate commercial awareness and a strong understanding of all elements of the construction process. Able to create and follow clearly set-out processes. Methodical, analytical, and organised with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to work well under pressure. Personable and effective team player. Open to feedback with a willingness to learn and improve. Requirements
