Job Responsibilities
As an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include: Valuations and contract paperwork Dealing with the legal side and subcontractors Managing programmes and accounts Handling all types of projects including industrial and commercial fit outs, schools, refurbishments, prisons, court buildings, new build works, and more The typical project value is anything from £50k to £10m. The role would involve all aspects of estimating and quantity surveying (pre-contract and post-contract) and provides an exciting opportunity to build on an existing setup, you will be: Dealing with initial tender and quotation enquiries Liaising directly with clients to establish their specific needs Carrying out site surveys Dealing with sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure best value and quality is achieved Overseeing the tender submission process to ensure the highest quality and most competitive bids are submitted Supporting Project Managers for submission of valuations, variations, and Final Accounts Providing direct input to the senior management team and helping in our ongoing continuous improvement drive Must have:
