What your role is Key Objectives The key objective of the role is to improve the processes, capabilities and deliver transformation across Logistics and Customer Services in EUAU, ensuring development of the core regional capabilities and digitalisation whilst delivering excellent performance and HMM delivery. A key focus will be reducing our Cost To Serve across the region to deliver a more profitable and sustainable supply chain through ideation and execution of projects. This will be achieved through project management to realise significant transformation in the RTM, contract management, operational tools, reporting and systems that are used across the region. Key Responsibilities Develop Cost-to-serve capability to enable logistics reporting and analysis leading to HMM Initiatives. Individually identify and lead HMM initiatives realising cost efficiencies across EUAU. Key input into month end process ensuring system accurate financials and HMM assumptions. Champion for UKI and EUAU Sustainability reporting and improvement projects. Implementation of EUAU order-to-cash strategy and lead on key EUAU initiatives on the Customer service capability road map, linking in the with the markets to ensure standardisation and continued improvement. Support the Cost-to-serve reporting capability to enable logistics reporting at customer and SKU level leading to Cost-to-serve analysis and customer behaviour initiatives. Maintain effective communication and relationships with key internal stakeholders including Sales, Finance, Supply Chain teams and with key external partners including 3rd party service providers, Plants, Carriers and Customers. Maintain effective communication and relationships with key internal stakeholders including GIC, D&T, EUAU Supply Chain teams, Centre of Excellence and with key external partners including suppliers. The role will require some UKI and European travel. What you will bring to the team Skills / Experience Graduate caliber – ideally Logistics / Supply Chain graduate. Proven experience of physical logistics; Understanding of 3PL business environment – commercial environment, operating culture. Commercially astute; Industry awareness; Numerical - any previous budgeting skills will be an advantage; Understanding of what drives cost in a supply chain; Retail exposure an advantage. PC and systems literate e.g. SAP; Excel. Excellent analytical skills. Previous experience of reporting and analyzing costs. Required: Work Attributes/Qualities Broad thinking – ability to think beyond own area of responsibility. Adaptability – ability to switch from day to day issues management to strategic thinking, ability to understand/adjust to the world of 3PLs and corporate HO. Strong interpersonal & influencing skills. Ability to work x-functionally and as part of a team. Data literate, structured thinker. Systems literate. Strong communications skills.
