£65000 White Horse is exclusively partnering with Herman Miller for the recruitment of a European Finance Manager. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a market-leading, award-winning business that has built up a fantastic local reputation; they are one of the top local employers with roles rarely on the market. After a successful number of years, they are continuing their expansion into EMEA and this role will play a key part with complete oversight of Herman Miller's financial control environment. This is the perfect opportunity for a technically minded accountant to take ownership of month end tasks, monthly reporting and financial reporting elements for the EMEA entities. Responsibilities
Ensure the accuracy of monthly financials in compliance with local statutory requirements and US GAAP, maintaining relationships with external accountants and advisors across EMEA. Oversee compliance with financial reporting, regulatory requirements, and statutory, tax, and regulatory submissions (e.g., VAT, corporation tax, and customs). Manage and improve the financial control framework, including cash flow forecasting, cross-charges, and liaising with external auditors. Support SOX compliance, business risk initiatives, and collaborate on tax planning and indirect taxation with the US tax team and external advisers. Maintain the integrity of the consolidated finance system and provide support to the Europe Finance Director and Financial Controller as needed. Ideally, you will come from an audit background and have some exposure to industry with an understanding of how your skills can be transferred into working in industry. You will be ACCA/ACA qualified with ambition to grow and develop for one of the best employers in Wiltshire.
