European Statutory Reporting Accountant

to join our European Finance team in

Media City, Manchester .

Your role will be based in Media City Manchester, coming into the office 2-3 days a week.

You will focus on building strong relationships with both group and local audit teams, ensuring timely preparation of audit deliverables, and resolving issues.

You will be tasked with reviewing local financial statements, using your analytical skills to challenge variances, understanding root cause analysis, and presenting an overview to the Directors.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

Collaborate:

Working in collaboration with local accounting advisors, you will demonstrate a good understanding of the statutory adjustments under local GAAP compared to US GAAP while managing the preparation of statutory financial statements.

Lead:

You will ensure that final financial statements are approved by relevant Directors and filed according to local legislation. You will also take the lead in ad hoc tasks and accounting projects as required.

Pro-Active:

You will pro-actively ensure that all financial statements and local filing obligations are prepared accurately and on time by working closely with professional services providers and auditors.

Communicate:

Being a strong communicator, you will act as the key point of contact across the business to provide interpretation and implementation of new accounting standards or complex areas of accounting.

Initiative:

You will be proactive in identifying and resolving issues, involving collaboration across functions and teams within Kellanova and externally.

We’re Looking for Someone With

Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) from a practice background, preferably top 10.

Experience of UK GAAP (US GAAP knowledge helpful but not essential).

External audit experience and up-to-date technical skills – IFRS / FRS 102.

Project planning and management skills with experience of US multi-nationals beneficial.
