They are the leading technology partner on some projects which will be the UK's 'firsts'. With rapid growth on the horizon, they're seeking a skilled Solution Architect to join their Programme Management Team and drive impactful change in the EV sector.

About the Role:

As a Solution Architect, you will be key to assessing technical and operational needs for logistics fleets transitioning to EVs. You’ll design and govern the delivery of optimised charging solutions, ensuring every stage of the project supports electrification investment. This role requires hands-on project oversight—from tracking technical progress and managing risks to collaborating with the project manager and stakeholders to ensure all client expectations are met.

Key Work Activities of the EV Solutions Architect:

  • Solution Design: Develop integrated EV charging solutions tailored to the needs of logistics fleets, supporting the seamless adoption of eHGVs and integrating with business-as-usual systems.
  • Architecture Assessment: Evaluate system architecture to identify and resolve any technical challenges that arise.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project management and product development teams to align IT systems with operational and business requirements.
  • CDM Compliance: Implement and monitor compliance with CDM standards, ensuring safety processes and standards are maintained across the project.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience managing EV infrastructure projects, particularly those involving solution design and delivery.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven track record working in or with EV infrastructure suppliers, ideally within an SME environment, with a strong interest in low-carbon energy technology.


Skills:

  • Proficiency in solution architecture and technical problem-solving.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage and interpret data effectively.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
