Ownership of the operational budgets for all events. Ensuring events fall within budget, costs are controlled, prices compared, and discounts negotiated whilst ensuring we receive value for money and exceptional service and execution. Research and identify key associations, media partners, and suppliers in pivotal locations, and make initial introductions. Research, source, and negotiate with venues, being the main point of contact pre, during, and post events. Source, negotiate, and manage all operational suppliers and vendors, including AV, caterers, build partners, translation services, registration, accommodation, etc. Concise and consistent communication with all other members of the team. Conduct a team briefing before each event and onsite. Main point of contact for sponsors, providing full, bespoke information and ensuring full contract delivery. Oversee delegate registration process and communication. Provide exceptional customer service for all stakeholders both face-to-face and via written communication. Run the event onsite including all aspects of setup (overseeing the set build, sound checking, etc.), final document collation, and running the registration desk. Skills and Competencies
Excellent communication skills: able to develop and maintain strong personal relationships with team members and external stakeholders, including venues and sponsors. Clear understanding (with examples) of operational KPIs. Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills. Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritise and multi-task across disciplines and event portfolio. Confident, able to work with minimum supervision to strict deadlines. Accurate, good eye for detail, meticulous and well-organised. Job Salary Range:
