Job Description

We are looking for a passionate in-house Event Programme Manager to work for one of the leading and largest independent resellers of production equipment for the Media and Entertainment sectors. My client creates bespoke roadshows, training courses and education festivals for some of the biggest names in the industry including suppliers, the BBC, ITV and Netflix, and many independent film and TV producers, academic institutions and individual content creators. Passion for their industry is reflected in every aspect of the business and this is an amazing opportunity to join a truly unique business and team of individuals. The Role Developing the company’s roadshow and events programme and briefs internally and with external partners. Identifying relevant content & speakers for a variety of events. Overall project management for events. Overseeing, organising and communicating the global event calendar. Liaising with and maintaining a working relationship with all stakeholders including customers, brand partners, internal staff, speakers and suppliers. Communicating with the marketing team to create effective promotion of each event and relevant collateral. Provide briefings for speakers, staff and participants at events. Hands-on management of all events logistics (including where necessary managing roadshow equipment/stock movements, etc). Budget management and reporting. Tracking and reporting success metrics and noting any learnings for future improvement. The Person Ideally at least 2-3 years in a relevant Events role (in-house or agency). An understanding of marketing activities to promote event to the relevant audience. Awareness of project management best practises. A creative thinker with initiative, able to multitask and think on their feet. A confident and adaptable team player who can think on their feet. Ability to understand and follow brand guidelines. Confidently present work, clearly explaining the rationale behind your process. Ability to manage and motivate team members and delegate tasks Meticulous attention to detail. A full UK Driving Licence.
